Geek Squad

Called them, got an automated system, asked for a representative, got a representative that assured me they physically clean dust out of laptops and helped me setup an appointment. Brought my computer to geek squad only for them to tell me they don’t physically disassemble and clean computers and the woman on the phone that setup the appointment that helped me was mistaken. When I call and want questions answered about my computer, I want to speak to someone from geek squad, not someone in a call center on the other side of the world.

They were nice and talked to me before my appointment time. They fixed one person's problem for pretty much free cause she had an alternate port to charge from she didn't know about.

All I needed was a graphics card removed and SSD put in. I couldn't get the card out without a plastic trim tool cause of the angle and location.

They could do that for me for $140 and 2-3 days later.

My PC is my life and I'm not going without it for 3 days. Much less on a job that would take several minutes because they want to test parts and run an inspection. That's not what I want them to do, and more so they don't need to run diagnostics on it. It's hardware install...read full review

Poor customer service. One employee was having a personal conversation and exchanged phone numbers with a non employee. Worst service I've ever had. We had to hunt someone down to help us buy a refrigerator. Eric was very helpful.
