“River is fantastic! My son has a unique mix of type 3 curls with some random straight pieces, and not many people know how to cut hair like his well—but River absolutely nailed it. He’s cool, calm, and a true master to watch at work. He also did an amazing job engaging my son in classic barber shop conversation, which helped him feel comfortable and at ease. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere—it’s the kind of space where you immediately feel comfortable. From the environment to the service, the whole experience was excellent. I’ve been going to Karina since 2018, and she was actually the very first stylist I ever trusted with my hair. Even after taking a long break and returning recently—five years later—she reminded me exactly why I chose her in the first place.

Karina is incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. She really takes the time to listen to what you want, and she somehow translates your words into exactly the look you envisioned. My recent haircut turned out perfectly—better than I imagined—and I left feeling so refreshed and confident.

She has such a talent for understanding her clients and making them feel comfortable in her chair. The quality of her work, paired with her genuine personality, makes every visit an amazing experience.

I can’t recommend Karina enough. If you’re looking for someone who will not only do your hair beautifully but also treat you with kindness and care, Karina at Crossings Barber is the one!

It's usually busy as most barbers are booked by appointments but you can give them a call ahead of time or stop in to see if they have any available walk-ins. Pricing is similar to other barber shops in the Twin Cities and the waiting area for parents includes a comfortable sectional couch and bottled water.“
