Collins Roofing and Sheet Metal

We got 6 bids before choosing Collins for our new metal roof. We knew we wanted standing seam and we liked their experience with metal and competitive prices and we like that they cut the material on site (reducing waste). I also liked that they use a waterproof membrane (ice and water) across the whole roof and that they leveled out the roof before putting the metal on. The crew was thoughtful and cleaned up daily. The real test is how things go when there are issues! When there was a material issue- a shortage, they communicated clearly and made it right. We are very pleased with the the job Collins Roofing did with the installation of a metal roof on our house! They were excellent communicators with clear estimates and answered all of our questions. When a challenge arose with the project (which is to be expected with any big construction job), they took the time to lay out the options from several price points. They also were thoughtful about unexpected events, such as when a theft on our property resulted in a temporary loss of roofing materials. Their project timeline was very reasonable with a quick turnaround for the scope of this project. Great company, excellent crew!

Last year we had our roof replaced with traditional asphalt shingles and a few months after that a storm rolled in and essentially destroyed that new roof. Insurance obviously covered it, but we were worried that continuing with asphalt shingles seemed like a big waste of material and time. We started looking at metal roofing options and were concerned about the higher costs, but when we met with Aaron from Collins he surprised us with lower costs from competitors and a fairly quick turn around.
