St. James VA Clinic

The staff at St. James VA are all great. However, of the many times I've been there, I saw the same Nurse Practitioner once or twice. They were rotated very frequently. I never saw an M.D, but I understand thats how the VA is saving costs now. On one of my visits I didn't even get to see the NP in person, it was remotely by camera, while I was at the clinic in person. I had a rash on my leg that they were not able to see clearly by camera and I felt I did not get good care in that specific instance. These costs saving attempts are lowering the quality of care for Veterans. Like I said though, the nurses and techs at St. James VA are all friendly and professional.

While the clinic is new…

Google has again screwed up.

If you click on and go to “St James Va clinic”, google will take you to the old facility across the highway.

If you type in the address “1103 13av south”, it will take you to the correct building.

Google maps doesn’t even show a building on the ground at the new location.
