On April 17, 2023, I was hit by a VEIT employee, Jon Couillard as I was driving from work (Anoka) to an appointment in Minneapolis. He was changing lanes on the highway and didn't bother to check his blind spot, hitting my front driver's side. He fully acknowledged fault at the scene, therefore I didn't think to get a police report. I filed a claim and learned that the employee LIED, stating the accident happened in Maple Grove and I was at fault, having rear-ended him. I contacted Angela with VEIT, who is in charge of liability and insurance. She stated that the employee stood by statement and had she had nothing further to say.
