About Dojo Karate - Rogers
Dojo Karate, located in Rogers, MN, teaches westernized Korean Tae Kwon Do, or American Karate, making it convenient for families in the Twin Cities to practice together. They offer classes designed to meet the needs and abilities of each student, from preschoolers to adults, with the goal of seeing them succeed through exercise, self-discipline, mutual respect, and positive reinforcement. The instructors are experienced, friendly, and patient, able to work with students who have ADHD and help them improve their focus. Students have the opportunity to advance through the belt ranks, building self-confidence and learning self-defense skills along the way. Parents and grandparents appreciate the positive impact the dojo has had on their children's confidence, discipline, and behavior.
Dojo provides a great program, meeting the kids where they are at and providing them a great space for developing confidence, discipline, and valuable life skills! The staff are great with the kids, giving and expecting respect.
We have been so impressed with dojo karate and their skill and patience for our son Colton. He has gained skills and confidence through his white belt and hopefully he continues to love karate as he progresses through the belt levels.
My 3-year-old son has tried many sports and he's never smiled, talked about or looked forward to any of them like he has with Karate! The instructors are all amazing - VERY patient and engage with him extremely well, which has been exactly what he needs at this age. This was a completely new experience for our family and I'm so glad that we tried it out. It's teaching him great skills on top of him having an absolute blast. We can't wait until his younger sister is old enough so that she can join as well!
