Service is just fine, and all the people working here are great. On the other hand, there are a lot of beggars walking around the parking lot. Lock your trucks, trailers, and fuel tanks, you’ve been warned.

I stopped at Love’s #842 to take a shower, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. After finishing my shower, I discovered that no towel had been provided. I tried calling out for assistance, even opened the door to ask, but no one responded. Staff were present in the store, yet it felt as if my situation was completely ignored.
What makes this worse is the price. At other truck stops, I’ve paid $17 for a shower with excellent service — clean facilities, fresh and comfortable towels, and a pleasant experience overall. Here, for $18, I got the opposite: no towel, no help, and no attention to customer needs.

Love’s is one of the best travel stops on the road. The staff are always friendly, and the stores are kept clean, which is huge when you’ve been driving for hours. Restrooms are usually spotless compared to other truck stops. I love that they have a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and hot food options, plus fresh coffee at any hour.
