I have worked with Hiawatha Homecare for almost 14 years. They pay well in comparison to other companies, try hard to accommodate my needed time off, and try hard to be supportive to their employees in the field to give the best care possible to clients. I seriously enjoy extended hour nursing as compared to driving house to house back in the day. Having one client for 12 hours instead of 6 or 8 is wonderful! The acuity has seriously increased in home care, so we need skilled nurses but are more than willing to train the right people!
