Nothing has been done to maintain the building since it opened 10 years ago. Garbage cans in rooms are not emptied regularly. Linens are not checked daily. Bathroom/ toilet not cleaned regularly or even looked at. There seems to be a staff shortage. Patient is very tall, was not provided with a bed that he comfortably fit in. The food is better than hospital food.
I had a wonderful experience and in particular Jack the nurse and physical therapy staff helped me every step of the way. Only problem as I had Medicare as my insurance and felt I was discharged home too soon as had problems getting off the toilet by myself and mobility without extreme pain.
My husband spent 4 weeks there. He (we) were treated so well from every single staff. Therapy was amazing at making him strong, nursing aids gave him all the help he needed with dignity, nursing with the best of cares, kitchen staff great food and food delivery people always with a smile, the front desk people always a kind smile, the gal in the “hub” taking care of the transportation and all the other things she did, housekeeping keeping the room clean. I cannot say enough good things about our month long stay. For staff reading this room 119 is doing great these days Thank you for caring
