2017-2020 was a great experience but the past two years (2023-2024) was pretty difficult to say the least. Very poor communication (from Adam Wood) and also felt a lot of pressure to finalize personal tax returns well before K-1's were received.

This was all after referring them a few clients 2-3 years prior. Appears to be the same sentiment from many clients that left after Tax Year 2024 from Google ratings that I just read.

I had tax services established with Heintz and Clark beginning around 2019. You pay for the services up front, which is a non-issue. However, their lack of responsiveness and communication is the real issue. They do not respond to emails, and there have been several occasions when I had to send a follow-up email a week or so later to get a reply to even the most basic inquiries. Getting a hold of the tax professional overseeing your return, etc, is also nearly impossible. When calling the facility, you will speak to the receptionist who will redirect you to that individual's voicemail. A voicemail message will be left, but not returned in a timely manner, if ever. I have had a great experience with Heintz and Clark. I love that they help me throughout the year with their advisory service. That way I am not scrambling at tax season. And they have saved me money the last 3 years. I highly recommend them!
