I’m new to the area and found Hair Affair at a convenient location and I’m waiting to go in for a haircut when I next needed one. I found a product to put on my hair and tried it and it was a disaster so I stopped by for advice and the lovely ladies collectively solved my issue and I left with a smile and intentions to spread good words and visit them soon. “While it is true Tina can be a little heavy handed, and talk to her partner ( cousin ) Anna, in their native language, and has almost fallen asleep ? while painting my nails, that is all overlooked by the fantastic job she does on my nails. I, like alot of people have had to wait past my appointment time, but i have also been squeezed in, and have had earlier than her normal opening time appointments. I have been going to her since she opened and have never had a complaint. In fact, I will praise her till the cows come home. She is the only nail tech in my 38 years of having acrylics, that my nails have not lifted, EVER. Nor have I ever broken a nail, and I am hard on mine. The most I've done is chopped a piece off with a knife, lol ? She is my go to for pedicures also. She and Anna both have a talent for freehand painting. Show them a picture and they will duplicate it, spot on. I know many girls that have gone to her and then went somewhere else, for various reasons, and regret their decision. Most complaining that their new place doesn't do nails like Tina. They're either lifting or coming off shortly after getting them done. I chuckle inside knowing that I will never have that problem. I am so confident in that statement always and especially for 1 reason in particular, and that is 2 of the times that she was oversees I refused to go to anyone else and waited for her return. One time was 8 weeks and the other was almost 10 weeks, and believe it or not, the only thing I had an issue with, duh, was the grow out. I, of course, filed them as needed along the way, and most of my nail bed was showing, but not one nail lifted or broke or peeled or chipped. Now, how many people can say that? I hope she is here for a very long time. Because, from my own past experience and other's current experiences, a good nail place is hard to come by.“
