The extensive amount of time Dr. Bean spent with us was wonderful. He got down on the ground with my rabbit and examined her at her level as he made treatment recommendations. The ER staff and doctors diagnosed my 7 year old dog with liver cancer after bloodwork and ultrasound imaging. They treated him and me with compassion and provided the best of care always professionally and expediently. Even after he passed, they sent a lovely card they all signed. AERC provided thorough testing for my Sheltie dog and then prescribed a treatment plan with medication that has brought her liver and gall bladder levels back to normal range. They have offered yearly follow up and the safety net of coming in if problems arise. Once on a weekend I had to come in due to a diarrhea problem, but the doctor handled it beautifully. All of the staff are very courteous. They are gentle and truly care about the animals they care for.
