I first injured my back when I was 15 years old, suffering from a herniated disc. Then, at 25, I reinjured it, but this time, it was much worse. I found myself in a state of global muscle spasms, with areas of my body overcompensating and others under firing, which led to severe pain and immobility. This took a huge toll on my self-confidence and identity, especially because my degree is in exercise science, and I have a passion for training athletes.

When I started seeing Dr. Bomberg, he initially recommended that I come in twice a week. At the time, everyone I knew was telling me that chiropractors were only for short-term relief. Despite the skepticism around chiropractic care, I trusted Dr. B—and I am so glad I did. Fast forward to now, and I only need to see him once a week. What once felt like an emergency situation—where I was spasming and struggling to move without pain—has become part of my preventative care routine.

One of the most beneficial treatments for me has been the gua sha massage. In my opinion, it has made a world of difference. Dr. Bomberg’s adjustments, combined with the massage, allow me to train and do physical therapy, all while keeping my body aligned, which helps reduce my aches and pains.

He also has massage balls available, which I use throughout the week to relieve flare-ups. As someone who tends to overexert myself with physical activity, this has been a game-changer. The massage ball allows me to target and relax specific areas within minutes, and Dr. B has been incredibly helpful in teaching me how to use it effectively.

Another treatment that has been a lifesaver for me is his active release therapy. Whenever I notice that my body isn’t able to move through its full range of motion, Dr. Bomberg’s active release techniques help release those tight spots and restore mobility. It’s been a key part of my recovery and ongoing care.

Beyond just the treatments, Dr. Bomberg is always uplifting and maintains such a positive, encouraging attitude. His energy and approach make each visit a great experience. He’s not just treating the body; he’s supporting the mind too.
