About Apria Healthcare
Apria Healthcare is a prominent provider of home respiratory services and medical equipment across the United States, serving over 1.8 million patients annually through more than 325 locations. The company specializes in oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, sleep apnea treatment, enteral nutrition, and negative pressure wound therapy. Patients appreciate the company's consistent delivery of supplies, such as CPAP equipment, often covered by insurance, and the helpful support from staff members in different locations. Many reviews highlight the professionalism of the building and reception areas, with friendly staff who are quick to answer questions and explain device usage. Some patients have noted positive experiences with representatives who assist during hospital discharges or help set up services after relocating from other states. However, there are occasional concerns about professionalism, such as attire and communication issues, and delays in receiving certain supplies, like cannulas and tanks, which may be due to international shipping. Overall, Apria Healthcare is recognized for its reliable service, helpful staff, and efforts to accommodate patients' needs, making it a trusted choice for home medical equipment and respiratory care.
Apria was the only medical supply company to use a paper/physical doctors order for a wheelchair. They gave a fax number and that was all they needed. I'm grateful for their diligence and working with the insurance company so all I did was wait for the processing to be complete and pick up the product. <3
Building & office very nice professional. Receptionist, welcoming, competent, professional. Specialist; could not connect with his ideas and mine. Not to mention, his unprofessional attire .
I have used Apria Health in atoms Ga for years and they automatically send my CPAP supplies every quarter. They bill me insurance who covers the cost of my supplies at 100%. Before when I was only collecting SSDI they helped me get funding to cover costs for some equipment I had at first. Now it’s just a CPAP today I’m going to see if they have a replacement power cord for my machine in New Brighton. The over all company has been great. It’s also one of two companies Humana contracts with. But everyone in Rome is a great help. I will be surprised if they aren’t here.
