It wasn't until I went to the Mayo Clinic's infusion center that I truly came to appreciate the quality of care I have been receiving from Dr Kahn (Rheumatology) and his staff. Here are a few of the reasons I am happy to be a patient in the Maple Grove office. They are usually on time. I don't have to wait in a room for very long before I am seen. Dr. Kahn speaks very fast but that doesn't mean he is not attentive to what you are saying. I would say he is a fast processor. He will gladly answer any questions you may have and respects your decisions to follow his advice or think on how you want to proceed. My referrals to radiology have been smooth. Wow, let me just say it was a breath of fresh air coming to this clinic, after being a patient within a very large "corporate" medical network. The difference in care was night & day. So much more personalized. It was my first visit here and I was very impressed. All of the staff was so friendly and the receptionist even remembered my name in my way out. Maybe not a huge deal to some, but good customer service goes along way in my book. The doctor actually took the time to listen to all of my concerns and came up with a plan along with follow up instructions. The clinic itself was beautiful and very clean and well kept. I've been seeing Dr Kahn for several years. When I first went to see him, I could barely walk and my hands were useless ... all of this from an extremely painful rheumatoid-arthritis. He had me feeling better within a week and I could walk and use my hands again. Dr Kahn has always been very pleasant to talk to and always took time to answer my questions. I thank God for guiding me to him.
