Alyse did a fantastic job with my hair! It was my first time at the salon and she made me feel welcomed and was very nice! We spent the first 5-10 minutes of the appointment going over specifically what I was looking for which I greatly appreciated!
I started going to Urban Escape at the beginning of the year when my favorite stylist in St. Peter, Madison, moved there. She is absolutely worth the extra drive; Madison does a beautiful job on my hair every time. She's helped me decide on various colors and styles, always setting realistic expectations for what will work for my hair and what sort of maintenance will be required. In addition to being a talented stylist, she's a genuinely sweet, friendly person; chatting with her always makes a usually 3-hour dye session a lot more enjoyable.
The salon in general is wonderful as well. The vibe is simple but stylish. The lobby is stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks. And instead of shampoo chairs, they have shampoo BEDS (chairs that recline completely horizontally), which is such a luxurious experience. I always feel like I'm treating myself when I have my hair done there. I truly can't recommend this place enough.
I had a scalp and head spa treatment with Connie. She was wonderful to work with!!! She took the time to explain things in detail and was just as excited about the treatment as I was. It’s always more enjoyable when you can tell someone really loves what they’re doing. I’ve been looking for a head spa to go to for some time and this one did not disappoint. I left feeling so relaxed. I definitely recommend you give this a try……you won’t regret it!
