I have always appreciated the care and professionalism trainer Charlie has used with my lab Gryff during his multiple stays at Willow Creek. From the guns and birds intro training at 6 months old through Gryff’s recent 4 week flusher training at 11 months old, Charlie has reinforced all of the positive family dog behaviors in Gryff while drawing out and fine tuning all of his upland hunting instincts. Thanks again Charlie!!

Willow Creek Kennels produced an amazing hunting companion for my family and I. She is sweet, energetic, goofy, and a hard worker in the field. Tracy is communicative and always willing to answer questions. I had a wonderful experience working with her.

My one year old GSP, trained by Jordan Pharris, just got back from her first big hunting trip where she pointed Hungarian partridges, sharp-tailed grouse, and pheasants in abundance. She honored others’ points and she routinely outperformed more experienced dogs.I was willing to take my pup anywhere in the continental US to be trained, and I am so glad I chose Willow Creek. The first thing that impressed me about Willow Creek was that I was looking for a training program focused on positive reinforcement and Chad Hines is a leader in the field. Willow Creek Kennels is a breeding and training kennel in operation for two decades. As a breeder we look for early development, intelligence, bird sense, prey drive, natural honor, natural retrieve on land and water, calm temperament, cooperative nature and sound health and movement. After developing the lines for almost 20 years we can confidently say that our dogs would make great prospects for hunt tests, field trials, water games, shed hunting, agility/frisbee games, falconry, skijoring, explosive detection or anything else you would like to throw at them. As a training kennel we have the opportunity to evaluate our own lines in addition to training all the various hunting breeds. We train anywhere from 400 - 600 dogs each year.

Wednesday: 9AM - 4PM
Thursday: 9AM - 4PM
Friday: 9AM - 4PM
Saturday: 9AM - 12PM
Sunday: Closed
