The Lake Pepin Golf Course offers a beautiful venue with stunning views of the lake, making it an ideal location for weddings and other events. The experienced staff provides excellent service, ensuring a seamless and perfect experience. The golf course itself is challenging, with hills and tight holes, but the well-maintained greens and incredible views make it a must-play. The clubhouse is nice, and the bar staff provides top-notch service.
The venue has received high praise from recent customers. One customer could not recommend the place more for a wedding, stating that the staff and the owner, Bill, were "absolutely incredible" and worked to make the day go smoothly. Many guests also complimented the venue and the service provided by the team.
While some customers have mentioned that the regulars or members can be "snooty" and not very welcoming, the overall feedback on the course, the staff, and the amenities has been very positive. The course is always in great condition, and the staff is friendly and willing to share stories about the property's history, including the "haunted house" that was the original home of the Schmidt family.
We had our wedding here and it was wonderful. Bill was attentive, answered all my many questions promptly, and everyone commented on how beautiful it was. The team of bartenders were wonderful as well. Bill also helped us plan a golf tournament the day before and everyone loved it!
Beautiful setting and nicely maintained!!! The young lady (School teacher) was one of the nicest people I have ever met in the service industry!!!! 10 stars....the kind of employee that everyone dreams of hiring 100 people like her! We will be back...
The golf course, service and staff were top notch! My friend and I drove nearly 90 miles to play this course; after seeing the feature on Minnesota Live KSTP. We were amazed that this was family owned and managed. We loved the beautiful scenery, well maintained fairways, landscaping, and eclectic holes. The holes were so diverse. It was challenging; yet playable for the average golfer. It allows the golfer to be creative with irons. This is truly a hidden gem!
