I had been going to Mary for years and always loved her cuts. I referred her to lots of people, including my dad. But then a weird misunderstanding involving a last-minute reschedule and her not remembering my call for a makeup appointment ended the relationship. When I called to make a subsequent appointment after the misunderstanding, Mary stated that she has too many clients to deal with me, that I should take my business somewhere else, and that I should stop calling her. I was pretty taken back by this response. I don't know if she was confusing me with someone else or if she had some personal issues going on. Mary's always been a pretty forward person (it's part of her charm) - but even for her, this was a rude way to end a long-time customer relationship.
