I love this place. They have two beautiful saunas with an amazing view of the lake. Walk down to the beach if you want to plunge in the water or sit next to the fire in between your sessions. Either way you’ll feel relaxed and refreshed.
They also have changing rooms and showers once you are done.
I recommend doing a private one hour session but you will need to book in advance as they fill up.
Sitting in the sauna looking out into the water is just majestic. The changing areas, shower, and salt shower were all perfectly kept up and clean and the outdoor area with fire pit was nice to take a break from the sauna. I was lucky to go in the early spring and the crisp air was divine against the heat of the sauna. I am looking forward to visiting again~ hopefully after their expansion~ and will be bringing my husband who loves to sauna!
We live here in Grand Marais and this is the best Sauna in the area! Truly amazing every time we go! You can't beat the view of Lake Superior!
