Sara is so warm and welcoming. I arrived 15 mins early expecting paperwork but there was no 10 page form to fill out - just a quick human to human conversation about my history and needs. Sara didn’t start the clock until she started massaging me which was such a nice change from the regular corporate massage chains that come in late and end early counting paperwork and dressing/undressing as “massage time”. I got a full 60 mins of hands on massaging!

I asked for a relaxing, full body massage and that is exactly what I got! I told her I had a lot of tension in my neck/upper shoulders and she took great care to work those areas well without making me wince. The oil she used was scent free and felt very moisturizing. She uses hot towels during the treatment for extra relaxation points but no extra charge! She also gave me a warm towel to use at the end of the appointment to clean off the excess oil. I really appreciated that she didn’t talk my ear off during the treatment but did check in 2-3x to make sure I was comfortable. I usually fall asleep during massages but was genuinely savoring every minute. You can tell she’s been doing this for a long time and truly cares about her work and her clients.

Her space is tucked in a corner of a confusing office suite building and would have been hard to locate but Sara texted me before my appointment and gave perfect directions to her studio. Even though it was inside a bland, lifeless office complex, her space felt so cozy and comfortable. Soft, dim lighting, comfortable sitting area, soothing color scheme, coat rack, and a water dispenser with real glassware! It smelled calming and delicious but not overwhelming like incense or essential oil overload. She had a space heater going which had the room sooo comfy and warm. She turned off the heater when the massage began and turned on a fan facing away from me for the duration of the massage which kept the air moving. The table warmer was at the perfect temp and the music was lovely and peaceful.

When I knew my time was coming to an end, I genuinely thought about bribing her to continue. I have never considered being a “regular” at a massage therapist before but I’m happy to say I will be going back as soon as funds allow!!
