Came back from vacation, turned on my iMac as usual. Found it unexpectedly unable to launch Chrome, Safari or anything else. Got a notification finally . . . that I of course didn't understand at all. Fix My Busted Computer to the rescue! This was my second visit, and was just as great as the first six months ago. Steve was great, got me in same day to take a look at my external hard drive. Unfortunately it will require the help of a business who specializes in data recovery, but he pointed me in the direction of a company that can help. He also gave me a lot of tips of how to not let the issue happen again and even looked up right there some hard drives he would recommend to me to better suite my needs.
