I purchased 2 casement windows over a year ago to replace old vinyl inserts; one for the living room and one for the dining room. I went with Renewal windows because I wanted quality, and that’s what I got. The crank mechanisms operate very smoothly, even on the bigger window in the dining room (6’ wide x 5’ high). The latch/locking mechanism is also very solid. I also liked how they varied from a “typical” vinyl window. I believe they are made with a material called Fibrex that’s supposed to add strength and help prevent warping. My old vinyl inserts had warped to the point where one double hung wouldn’t even latch anymore and the others leaked.The crew...read full review
