I’m new to the area & really wanted to buy/use a local business . I left a deposit in April for a shower tile job scheduled for Aug 6; as the date got closer I called to make sure we were set, I then got a call saying no, they couldn’t get the tile. When I offered to buy the tile at a big box store, they said no couldn’t do the job because of family issues. I asked what my options were & about my deposit check & was told it would be refunded. Two weeks later I was able to get on another contractor’s schedule delaying my shower another month and a half.
