About Focus Bodywork
Focus Bodywork provides true therapeutic results through customized sessions. The practice specializes in a unique Deep Tissue and Pressure Point technique, targeting problematic and often overlooked muscles. While the specialty is deep and corrective, pressure is adjusted for each individual. The practitioner brings full energy and commitment every time, with a radiant personality and professional approach. Clients report it is the best, with unparalleled knowledge and amazing work that compares to no one else. The practitioner is not a massage therapist but a bodywork specialist who intuitively knows what is ailing the body. He has a unique gift of precision focus on the areas that need it most, with great knowledge of the body and a great skillset to get rid of aches and pains. He knows precisely the speed, depth, and technique to unlock tension and listens to the body to customize each session. Clients see remarkable improvement, even from seasoned sports injuries and old injuries, regaining pain-free range of motion. The atmosphere is soothing, clean, and welcoming. Many drive a significant distance to visit and would drive even farther, stating they would never go anywhere else and are customers for life.
Jake is an exceptional bodywork therapist. He is able to pinpoint and relieve tension. I am amazed at the pain relief I have felt in only 3 sessions. I highly recommend Jake to anyone who is looking for a deep tissue massage by a true professional.
Jake is the best of the BEST! I drive 45 minutes to see him and I would drive even farther. I have seen so many different people over the last 15 years and nobody compares to Jake. Once I found him I would never go anywhere else! His knowledge and amazing work are top notch, and his personality is so radiant! He is all around such a great person and the best to get your body back to feeling better!
This review has taken me far too long to write. I have been seeing Jake for about a year and a half. It is so rare to find someone who can seemingly intuitively know what is ailing the body. I started with massage therapy to help with some seasoned sports injuries (notably rotator cuff and lower back imbalance). Jake is not a massage therapist, he is a bodywork specialist. He knows precisely the speed, depth, and technique to unlock tension.
I am saddened to be moving later this year, but I have already told him, anytime I come back to town I am making sure I find an hour (or two) to get some work done. I will not miss an opportunity to visit Focus Bodywork.
