Rock Hill Radon

I’ve spent the last 6 to 9 months trying to get Rockhill Radon to come back and fix the plastic they installed, which was never glued down properly or secured in a way that made it effective. It’s literally not serving any purpose. I reached out to them time and time again and got no answer. Eventually, out of frustration, I messaged my realtor. She encouraged me to keep trying to contact the owner and also mentioned that he had lost his arm — which I was sympathetic to and tried to be patient about.

I had to have another contractor put larger fans in and re seal one of the floor inserts. I then had to contact mn department of health to get him to come back and finish the job correctly since it did not have alarms., and the pipe needed to be extended. That winter it froze. So now I have to pay another contractor to come back and put a heat tape in the pipe. I would not recommend this contractor.

Rock hill radon was recommended to us by our realtor. He performed a radon test for our home inspection. Unfortunately his results write up was extremely poorly written showing both a pass and fail. Per EPA it was a fail but due to the poor report write up it resulted in confusion and the home owner refusing to pay for it. Due to this problem he offered to our realtor and to us to give us a discount and install a radon mitigation system for a reduced price of “X.”Therefore we chose to go with him for the installation.
