“My quest began when a dear friend began a surgical recovery in Ecumen Homes in Detroit Lakes, MN. I wanted to send her something to let her know how special she was to our family. I wanted something fun and personal, and especially from a local shop.
Not knowing the city and wanting to find a truly local shop, I turned to the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce. Explaining my goal, to send colorful balloons, along with a small, personal gift that she would be able to enjoy during her recovery. They helped me select your truly local shop, surrounded by more local shops in a mall. Perfect!
I called and was helped by an awesome young lady who helped me find the perfect solution, a ballon bouquet, and when I explained my wish for a small personal gift - possibly a crossword puzzle book. She told me they didn’t have that in her shop, BUT!…She offered to go to store nearby in the mall and find something she could enjoy in her “temporary home” - Such personal service and kindness was above and beyond my greatest expectations! It was delivered in no time and my friend loved it!!! What an awesome gift this young employee gave to me in my time of need. She made everything work perfectly and I am forever grateful!!!
I will sing praises for your shop and highly recommend at every opportunity!
