We are a brand new Intrepid family with our 4 yr old joining lessons with the owner, Melissa. I don’t know how she does it (I’m sure it’s like herding cats), but Melissa is an amazing teacher and very kind. She is so welcoming and we have had a wonderful experience so far.

We love Intrepid! Melissa McCabe and her staff are not only highly qualified, but they put their hearts into their dancers. We previously came from another studio that was less than acceptable. Melissa has been a breath of fresh air, and our girls have learned SO much. So thankful we made the switch!

At first I was upset I couldn't stay to watch my kid practice. But it really makes sense, because the focus is on having fun and DANCE, and NOT on overbearing dance moms hovering over their children to make sure everything is perfect. Intrepid is a casual, inclusive studio. Wear what you want. No pressure on appearance at all. My kid loves that she can go dance in shorts and a tshirt. Best of all, I got to take a tap class this year. I've never danced before in my life, and I was up on stage by the end of the season! My heart is so full to have this special activity I can share with her. We are both looking forward to next season!
