“As a woman I was worried at the treatment I may receive by this type of business because I had no knowledge about what exactly I needed for a barn pad to be done. My expectation was to deal with a rough skinned person who would brush me off and not listen to what I needed as this is how I have been treated in the past by similar organizations. I was dead wrong. I had great communication through the whole process. They came out to my place and helped come up with a game plan on how to get to the area we needed the work done at. (It was a tight spot but we figured it out!) Work was done quick and professionally. The guys are personable and in touch with reality. I never felt less than for my lack of knowledge and they were kind. I work in the customer service industry and have a high expectation that they 100% met. The negative reviews honestly surprise me. I will always go to them first for my future excavation needs!“

“When I bought a new home with snow still on the ground, I was overwhelmed when I saw all the creeping charlie and violets appear in the spring, pictures included. The staff at River City were polite, prompt, and quickly put together a plan for my lawn. I like that I receive an email and application record after each service. I have used the payment portal with ease as well as the pay ahead option with no concerns. Overall, the process has been worry-free, requiring little to no effort on my part, after a single year of service there is no creeping charlie, and my lawn has been absolutely transformed into something I am proud of.“
“I'm Impressed!!! I am in my early 70's having cut trees to heat with wood much of my adult life. This summer I dropped 3 dozen trees up to 30". But there are trees that require expert handling. I called Hathaway to drop an oak tree that at 2 foot off the ground was 32" in diameter, at its base it was nearly 4'. It leaned back toward the house, the opposite direction it needed to fall. It was next to a children's play house, a deck with hot tub and hung over our house. At a height of 30' it forked to two branches each 20" diameter. This 80’ oak tree was tree not to be taken lightly. To do any work that is fluid making it look easy or as I say “illusion of simplicity” is to work at high skill level. Hathaway did just that. The 3 man crew worked so smoothly, it was humbling. Needless to say, I am Impressed. I highly recommend them!“
