I was so impressed by the staff at AOMS in Coon Rapid’s from the front desk being very friendly and welcoming. To the caring staff Dr De La Mater and team made me feel so comfortable. I was having my upper teeth extracted for preparation of upper dentures. I am not a fan of dentists or oral surgery , my anxiety steps in. The staff walked me thru the consultation process what to expect and my options. Dr De La Matter and team reassured me they would make me comfortable and cost was a factor . I initially thought I wanted to be asleep for the 2 extraction appts . After discussing with Dr he was very reassuring that with nitric oxide and numbing I could manage very well . Again cost was a factor and I was assured that if I changed my mind he would put me asleep. I went in for first procedure and had no problems. Everyone was so caring and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. So the next appt I did the same . I was very happy with the process and would not hesitate to recommend AOMS to family and friends.
Dr Bednar helped me fix a couple of stubborn Mandibular Tori's in my lower jaw. They were pretty painful and having anxiety didn't help. Dr Bednar was kind, understanding of my situation, and got me in and fixed quick! He takes the time to listen to you and explains what he needs to do so there was never any surprises.
