Overall a good experience. The techs did a good job taking the time to answer my questions around replacing knob and tube wiring. Professional, courteous, quality work

However, an issue was avoided only because I caught it. The job included installing a new ventilation fan. A fan not specified in the work was installed, one not as quiet as the fan agreed upon. I pointed this out and the correct, much quieter fan was installed.

Also, we don't mind paying for quality, professional service, all good. But, three thousand plus is a big bite out of our budget.
With that in mind should the online pay site be asking for a tip?

Tim gave us an estimate to replace our main/overloaded panel with a larger panel with room to spare, along with wiring for new electric baseboard heat. The first worker, Joey, came out on a horribly hot day and saw the work was going to take longer due to our hodge-podge electrical situation, and he didn't want us to be without power/AC/fridges on such a hot day. They returned the following week with a 2-man crew and they did an excellent job! We've had Crosstown Electric out to our house a few times now and they've done nothing but great work! They worked efficiently and gave great advice to how we could do what we wanted to do for lighting in our kitchen remodel.
