Had the pleasure of working with Jay for the first time today inspecting a home for me in Eagan. I cannot describe how impressed I was. His easy going attitude while maintaining COMPLETE professionalism is exactly what you want from a home inspector. Completely walking my client through the inspection and putting together an impressive pamphlet for us, this guy is the real deal. I will recommend him every time to any home buyers looking for a thorough and professional home inspection. 10/10

Jay noticed a number of things I would not have seen, but there are some things that were overlooked or rated as minor that should have been major. I think his report could be written differently. His reports say what problems are major and what are minor. First, it is subjective. Second, he reported a siding board and the paint deterioration as minor; the bids to repaint came in around $13,000! This isn't minor in my world. Also negative drainage outside towards the home was rated as minor but it was over $5,000 to fix. Putting in that it is minor puts the buyer at a severe disadvantage when negotiating a concession.
