Ahh corporate healthcare. My experiences every time I visit:
1. Scheduling mix-ups from under-trained and disengaged staff who don't care.
2. Nursing staff that, while pleasant, pressure you into whatever everyone else does/standard procedure but can never seem to articulate why, seemingly because they don't know themselves.
3. Sticker shock at billing. Hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on simple office visits, questions, and checkups. Simply put, death or chronic illness is just cheaper.
4. A billing department that is quick to charge/collect but seems clueless about dealing with insurance companies, changes, or mix-ups. Expect to call multiple...read full review
Nobody can answer the phone? Maltreatment and neglect? Call these guys today! For just the bare minimum from your provider and 100 million $$ you can be seen for 5 seconds with no answers- if you can get ahold of them to be seen in the first place! :) love Americas healthcare.
I called this morning to discuss an issue I had yesterday and was only hold for 21+ minutes before I could even get ahold of anyone. The lab took 2 vials of blood for tests and I've only received one test result back so now I have to drive 45 minutes for the missing test. This will be last I deal with Essentia in Baxter.
