The Mod Med Spa is such an asset to Austin. I am elated I tried it. The professionals are extremely thorough in explaining the sciences behind the procedures. I received the dermaplane, geneo facial, and some botox units. It was a phenomenal experience and very relaxing. I've already started telling my friends they need to go and check out the services they provide here. I will be a returning client!
LIFE CHANGING I have PCOS & Hirsutism which causes hormonal hair growth, especially in the face. I’ve had my beard & have been shaving it DAILY since I was in 6th grade. For over 20 years I have been dealing with this and have tried all types of fixes; medications, waxing, threading, you name it I tried it. I was told for years by doctors and other technicians, because my issue was a hormonal disease that laser wouldn’t work for me. Well, I’m here to tell you it DOES. I’m shook, I never ever thought this was possible. I have learned to live with this, hide this & be ashamed of it. I always would get so frustrated when I’d comment on it and gals would say “oh, I understand I have a couple hairs to pluck too”. Unless you have PCOS or Hirsutism, you wouldn’t understand just how fast and full it grows, it’s never ending. I just had my SECOND laser treatment and you can already notice a HUGE difference. I can actually go a couple days now in between shaving. It’s truly incredible. I was afraid at first to be vulnerable about my pcos and showcase my biggest insecurity but if it helps one person it’s important and so am I! The whole staff is a delight to be around, Jenna has done both my treatments and is so gentle and talks your through the entire process. This space and team is a gem to our community. If you’re suffering with the pcos please please please invest in yourself because it’s FINALLY worth it!! I had a wonderful experience at the spa! The staff was kind, courteous and professional! Ivy was very knowledgeable, and helped me purchase the correct products for my skin! Upon returning to work I received I compliments on how soft and glowing my skin looked! Highly recommend the derma facial!! Looking forward to my next appointment!!
