They have reasonable prices and are accommodating and flexible, even fitting in emergency cases without appointments. The clinic is popular and can be busy, which may sometimes cause delays with lab results and call backs. However, they are usually able to see patients quickly when needed. There have been some issues with text confirmations having the wrong date or time, but the information is always correct in their system. Overall, Rum River Veterinary Clinic is a great choice for veterinary care, providing excellent service, caring staff, and flexible options. Pet owners are fortunate to have such a clinic in their community.
We have been bring our pets here for more than fifteen years. They are some of the friendliest veterinarian staff we have ever met. Dr. Kuebelbeck always makes a point of catching up and making us feel like valued clients. They also give you estimates that they stick to if you need more extensive care.
Nice and friendly people. But treatment plans and diagnosises leave much to be desired.
Brought a 18 year old elderly cat in that wasn't eating, started giving me a discussion about putting her down.
Spit balled some ideas off the vet but mostly he said nothing could be done.
After using first principles and previous test data I got from there I was able to extrapolate my own treatment plan and now she's back to mostly baseline eating and stronger than she's been for months.
Use them for lab results and other eyes, but you have to do the doctoring yourself for the most part.

I bring 2 dogs to Rum River, including one who HATES going to the vet, to the point of having to be sedated, or at least did until her experience there. Now she actually seems to enjoy it. I don't know how they do it. Amazing vets and techs.
