You know when you sign up for an event or class and you hope it’s gonna be worth your time? Then you show up and realize it’s so much more? That’s how the home dairy seminar was today. The open forum and casual discussion while walking around the farm, was the perfect atmosphere to learn. The information was wonderful and I tasted one of the best cheeses I’ve ever had. Seriously though, how was it perfectly salty? I recommend taking any opportunity you have to learn from Ruth and her boys and soaking it all in. What a storehouse of knowledge.

Was welcomed by Ruth, the owener, and gave me a friendly tour. Very wonderful and educated woman. Had a little chit-chat before we went inside her house and introduced me to her lovely family.I went for the raw goat milk due to its nutritional benefits. I asked for a sample and she was generous enough to pour me half of a jar !!The milk tasted so goaty and creamy with zero pasteurization. Definitely tasted the difference after taking a sip!Highly recommend this place for organic dairies.
