The atmosphere at Greater Detroit Budojuku - Authentic Japanese Martial Arts Dojo is exceptional, and my daughter has made some lifelong friends there. Greater Detroit Budojuku is truly a martial arts school with a culture of service and support. They train together and help each other grow as martial artists and as people. We are truly blessed that they are part of our lives.
Reviews
Both Sensei Radu and Sensei Paul know their respective arts in an excellent fashion. They are about the individuals whom come and train and treat everyone as a valued part of the dojo community. I have really enjoyed my 4+ years training with them and the rest of the dojo family.
As a Judo student, I found this to be fantastic school with a true dedication to excellence through a traditional martial ethic. The instructors foster a community atmosphere where concern for your training partners' welfare and mutual growth are promoted as a foundation for subsequent personal advancement. Everyone that I have trained with at this school has a great appreciation for the beauty of these arts, and I can't speak highly enough of the programs that have been established here. I unfortunately had to leave for personal reasons, but I sincerely hope to practice here again in the future. Thank you Sensei Radu and Sensei Alex!
