Very disappointed with this facility. We had very high hopes as a rehab patient, but learned very quickly, short staffed, don't care much about patient unless you are on skilled nursing side. My father fell twice here, both times were due to neglect of center, yet they blame the patient. They do not check on patients regularly. Call buttons pushed constantly, which go unnoticed for half an hour or more, due to staff issues, or staff being " on break." TV was an issue from day one, we actually ended up getting a brand new tv installed since maintenance even couldn't understand the issues. That took over a week. My 96 year old mother fractured her pelvis and has been at West Bloomfield Health for almost 5 weeks. She had EXCELLENT therapy from both the physical therapists and the occupational therapists. The attending Dr. came 3 days a week and was wonderful at listening and handling all of our questions and concerns. The nurses and nurse assistants were VERY nice; (some more attentive than others) but for the most part ALL were helpful. I would definitely recommend The West Bloomfield Health for rehab care; my mom is going home in 100% better condition than when she arrived there!Thank you to EVERYONE who took care of my mom!!
