Our son joined Thrive Martial Arts only a few months ago, but we have already seen him grow and gain so much confidence! He is not interested in traditional organized sports, so we thought we would give martial arts a try. We are so happy that we did, and even more thrilled to have found Thrive and Mr. Horn! Mr. Horn is an amazing instructor that knows how to work with kids in a way that makes learning and working hard, fun. We are so grateful to be a part of Thrive and find it to be a worthy investment in our son’s confidence. I did taekwondo for 7 years when I was a young boy in Taiwan. I know a great, disciplined coach when I meet one! We are more than happy to have both of my 6 yo daughter and 4 yo son enrolled at Thrive. Coach Zach does a phenomenal job teaching kids not just taekwondo/martial arts skills, but more importantly, respect and discipline. Highly, highly recommend Thrive Martial Arts and Coach Zach!!!!!
Coach Zach is as much a life coach as he is teaching them moves/kicks. He shows and expects respect, discipline and effort among other good qualities but also age and ability appropriate. He's even led Nerf Wars fun nights for the kids. This place is wonderful!!
