While the golf carts may leave something to be desired, the serene surroundings of Middle Straights Lake help players focus. Course was in pretty rough shape- partially from recent bad storm.

A far cry from what is used to be.
A lifetime local told me they’re trying to bring it back….?
Research tells me new owners are removing portion of course to make way for “a place of worship & banquet center”…?
Too bad, great course layout- was truly fun to play.

A little soggy yesterday, but I am sure many courses were after that 9+ hours of rain on Wednesday.
They had the grill going, carts ready, an energetic young man in the pro shop, and a ranger out all day. Great work by Bay Pointe GC.
P.S. They now have THREE tee boxes versus only two previously.
