I bought windows from Mr. Mekled in the mid- '80's for my first home and was very happy with the Plygem Premium dbl. hung and casement windows, so much so I returned to ThermalShield for my retirement/re-hab home in the country. After 20+ years of living with our builder quality patio door we decided to get it replaced. After visiting all the big box stores we decided to go with Thermal Shield not only due to the quality of the door(s) the sell but because they have their own installation crew. The big box stores sub contract out. The installers,Tim & Matt were very professional and did a great job with the removal of the old door and trimming out and installing the new one. Now that winter has arrived we notice a BIG difference in the way it keeps the cold out. We would certainly do business with Thermal Shield again if we needed other doors or windows replaced.
Denise spent a lot of time putting together the door I was looking for, Eric worked with me for a couple of weeks until we found the glass front door that I wanted. Hugely helpful! Nick the installer did a beautiful job. I also did all windows in my house with them 18 years ago and 3 door walls 2 years ago. The same installers showed up. Great company!
