Been retired for a couple years now, but I'm going to defend Options and any other paving company that gets disparaged and castigated by customers, most of whom are well intentioned but are badly misinformed, don't understand asphalt and have unrealistic expectations. Not to mention the people that just make things up. ( There's WAY to much of this going on ) Hope this helps. Asphalt is black compacted gravel. The gravel is glued together by liquid asphalt and liquid bituminum. By it's very nature, it's possible to get tire marks, indentations, etc. And when it settles, it's possible you're going to get little low spots here and there that will collect water.
