Dishonest, False Advertisement, Misleading, Deceptive, Distorts the qualifications of their movers (completely inept), took twice as long as estimated and didn't fulfill want was promised to get me to agree to hiring them. Then shove a particular spots highlighted on the contract in front of you and says needs signatures and initials before getting started. Already arriving late and smelling of marijuana. Within 20 minutes damage my dresser, less than a year old. Overall damaged 2 beds, 3 dressers, Washer & Dryer and Dryer pedestal and my new homes front door and wall going upstairs. Requested only 32 items moved. My family moved 7, leaving 25.Then prior to putting everything back together properly, they while I was on the phone with Verizon. No attempt to get my attention just left.Talked with Markeif again, the conversation him informing me to file a complaint and insurance claim. Still dealing with CJ (POS) 248-836-8020, will only text, lacks professionalism toward customers. CJ likes to threat attorneys on customers they have screwed over with misleading advertisement and claims of employing professional movers. Avoid my current headache, hirer middle school students and endure less damage to your furniture and home. CJ won't acknowledge the movers are incompetent and keep saying you signed the contract. Yes, with the expectations they employ professional movers as advertised and promised in the estimate and website. Don't make my mistake, ready carefully about insurance. Over the phone they say everything is covered by the insurance, that is false and dishonest statement by Beth Miller at the Yorktown, VA location. STAY AWAY!!

I GIVE ZERO STARS !!...started.."OPPS" dropping my boxes of glass wear...im missing boxes. I had shrink wrapped some of my things already ..they wrapped unnecessary furniture that didn't have any drawers and shrink-wrapped a miscellaneous box so they can claim the $26 on the contract . They don't show you the whole contract until the end of the move . Then the kicker...they (movers) asked for a $90 tip each but because I didn't give them what they wanted they started taking my stuff ..I called the company. But the movers already knew their plan..WHICH WAS PROBABLY THE PLAN ALL ALONG... And other boxes and miscellaneous boxes. #2 owner in on it...HE HUNG UP ON ME..SAID...read full review

First, they were 5 hours late to the job, citing truck trouble. So, the first red flag is that they do not own their trucks, they rent them. When an issue arose they had to take the truck to the rental company for repair. Then they wanted to cancel on us because it was late in the day. Oh, how I wish we had said yes to the cancellation, because the aftermath of the move was unbelievable. The walls and moldings and wood stairway in the home we sold were gouged. We spent 2 days repairing and painting. When we finally got around to concentrating on the new home, we found the wood floor was gouged in several places. More troubling, was that almost every piece of furniture was damaged, some severely. These pieces have been through multiple moves (some from overseas, in and out of storage, etc) without sustaining any damage, but these guys managed to leave destruction in their path. We were told that the men who moved us were their best crew. They were nice fellows, but they did not know how to take care with furniture. We wrote an email to the company complete with pictures and have heard nothing from them. As others have said, RUN don't walk away from Blue Oak.
