I had an exceptional experience at Menzie Hair Salon. Ms. Candice and Ms. Pumpkin were incredibly warm and welcoming, making my daughters and me feel at ease. I brought my daughters in for their hairdos, and Ms. Candice proved to be incredibly kid-friendly. She took great care of my girls ensuring they were comfortable throughout the process. One of my daughters is usually quite resistant to braids, but with Ms. Candice’s patience and gentle touch, she managed to overcome her fear. I came in and got my locs retwisted here for the first time and the lady did a very nice job I was satisfied and will be coming back again. Not only were the people in there genuine the salon was also decorated nicely and well kept.
I brought my daughter in to see Whitney for a loc takedown after she accidentally created a dread knot. Whitney was so wonderful and fit my daughter in ASAP. She made the challenging process comfortable and fun! Most importantly, she did an amazing job and was able to save my daughter's beautiful hair. Punkin also stepped in to assist and was so kind, helpful, and skilled. Many of the stylists stopped by to take a look and offer to advice. They were all encouraging and positive which made my daughter feel better. It felt like a family environment where everyone was invested and truly cared. We are so thankful to this team!
