Everything went as expected with the inspection, testing and consultation. We have a home built in 1970 and were concerned about what asbestos exists and wanted to understand our options to mitigate.

I was having some breathing problems so decided to replace the carpeting in my basement, which was cheap Berber from the 90's. Underneath the carpeting were asbestos tiles, from whenever shuffleboard floors were popular (50's?). Some of the tiles had shattered from me rolling around in my office chair (oops!). BDS was responsive to my request. In fact, they were the first and only company I contacted. They scheduled a visit for the estimate the same week and removed the asbestos tile with air emissions testing a week later. The technicians removing the asbestos tiles in my basement were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Ron provided enormously useful perspective and advice in a short phone call. This allowed me to complete a small DIY project safely and feel a sense of relief that I hadn't put myself at much risk from asbestos. A contractor with less integrity might have insisted on coming to have a look and asked for hundreds of dollars. Instead, Ron heard me out and gave me the immediate help I need. And no charge. That's professionalism.
