We had worked with Acclaim Legal Services in the past and when needed again we reached out to this firm to complete our request. We our case was completed we were referred to a consumer credit group to assist with our credit reports if it was deemed necessary. Well it was due to incorrect information on our credit reports which could cause issues in the future. This agency worked for us and after seventeen months our credit reports were corrected and updated.
I ended up being sued by a former landlord for back rent they claimed was owed for a lease I never resigned. Around tax time 2025, I got a letter saying the state was holding my refund and would be giving it to the debt collectors as payment unless I filed for bankruptcy. My previous roommate had the same issue a few years back & recommended Acclaim Legal Services to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy so I could get my refund back (they were holding it for 4 weeks).
