Don’t know where to start. Lost a very important person in our lives unexpectedly and didn’t know what to do. Set two appointments for funeral homes. The first one left us dumb founded and super sad. They were only worried about our money and could care less about what we were there for. Our second appointment was with Mike Pawlak. We were so happy my husband insisted on a hug in lieu of a handshake. We felt as if we had found a new friend. Everyone at Pawlak’s treated us with kindness, gentleness and respect. Truly made the experience tolerable. We will never go anywhere else. Thank you Pawlak family for taking such good care of us and our loved one.
My father was fading on April 14, and my sisters and I discussed transferring his service from a local Toledo establishment to Pawlak due to space constraints. I said that I would call on Monday to talk about a transfer. Then, my father died early on April 15. With one phone call, Mike transferred my father's policy from the other funeral home, and made the transfer seamless and totally stress-free for my family. From then on, the quality of care, attention to detail, and deftness with which they handled every step of the process was absolutely wonderful. There are 8 children, but they managed to exceed our collective expectations of what we wanted for our father's service. Without reservation, I will say that you can put your total trust in Pawlak. They sincerely care - it's in their soul - and it is exhibited at every step for your loved one, and for your family.
