However, multiple reviews express extreme disappointment and frustration regarding tipping. Customers report that therapists have a bad attitude about tips, appearing mad or scowling even when given generous tips of 23%, 60%, or more, and do not seem grateful. This occurs despite a front desk attendant being present. While the massage service itself is praised, this issue with tipping practices affects the experience. I had the same experience today I did pay $45 for half hour and got a massage. Everything is great but the lady her attitude are really bad. when comes to tips. I did give her like 23% and still mad. I don’t think they learn from the previous comments or care about reviews. She should be so thankful for people tipping her. some other people don’t give nothing at all.
The massage therapists are nice enough Chinese ladies, with a man attendant at the front desk. I went back after several years recently to try them again; as I had a wonderful massage in the past. The lady gave an overall great massage, including a nice conclusion, but when it came time to tip her; I was extremely disappointed and frustrated!You chinese therapists need to understand something about American tipping practice/custom. A 15% tip is average, 20% means you did an excellent job; 30% means you did a fantastic job; as well as anything more. On a $50 massage, if you get $10 you got a good tip. Well done! They got me in immediately for sciatica pain that was excruciating. First massage ever but I can tell you it feels better already. I made a appointment to return next week. Thank you so much for helping me.
