Caroline was yelping and had bad neck/back pain. They got me in on an urgent visit and I dropped her off in the morning and picked her up at 5pm, so when the vet had time he could see her. I was beyond happy they could fit her in. She ended up having a disc/pulled muscle. They sent us home with pain medicine and within 24 hours she had felt better. I'm beyond thankful for Tawas Animal Hospital!

Polite, caring and informed staff. Except… when we had our little girl in for her yearly checkup the assistant took her in the back to weigh her and get a blood draw for her heart worm check. She asked if she should trim her nails. Even though Bella was just to the groomer 2 weeks earlier for full service we said “sure”. When we got home I was going over the itemized statement. That nail trim cost me $21.71 ‼️ I felt like I was taken advantage of since her full service grooming was only $60. Haircut, bath & nails trimmed. ??‍♂️
