Normally the work she does is very satisfactory. However, if you are having a dress hem shortened, triple check the length you want beforehand. My $250 ball gown was an inch and a half shorter than we agreed on, and she charged $75 to hem the 3 layers. To say that I am disappointed would be a huge understatement, since the look of the dress is basically ruined now.

I took pants for work in to be hemmed as well as a bridesmaid dress to be altered. She gave me a date that worked perfectly to come pick up the clothing but I found out last minute that I needed the pants for work sooner then the date so when I called her she immediately offered to get the pants done sooner to accommodate my work change.
